Henry is 2 months old!

Henry's 2-month appointment was yesterday. The pediatrician said that he looks great, completely healthy which was wonderful news. Henry is now 23 inches long and weighs 15 lbs, 4 1/2 oz! He is in the 97% range for weight and 90% range for height!! Dad is very proud of his little football player!

Henry did have to get his immunizations yesterday...5 shots total. :-( I had to hold his little hands down while the nurse stuck him in his thighs. He screamed while she was sticking him but calmed down almost immediately afterwards.

I tried to convince Henry to be happy because he got some cool Band-Aids out of the deal...



He definitely was not convinced. ;-)

We had a WONDERFUL time with Josie, Nolan, Beth, and Baby M! Henry and I look forward to many more playdates! And maybe next time Henry will stay awake for longer than 10 minutes! :-)

Last Friday night, we grilled out and all were in bed by 930 p.m. My, how our weekends have changed...











And we are loving every minute of it! :-)

I had been working with Henry all of last week to get him to smile. I tickled, I smiled, I laughed, I sang, I made goofy faces but I got nothing. Then on Friday Trey came home from work and was not home for more than 5 minutes when Henry cooed and gave him the biggest smile!

No pictures yet of that wonderful smile (we have to wait until Daddy comes home...haha) but I am hoping to have some soon. :-)
