My sweet cuddle bug...

...loves to cuddle his stuffed animals.

You are a sweet, sweet boy Henry!

Peek-A-Boo!

Where's Henry?

Peek-a-boo Boys! ;-)

Fun With Sidewalk Chalk

Sidewalk chalk in our household is not only used on our driveway but also on...

...each other! ;-)

Mommy and Henry with matching blue noses...

Drawing on our noses was not enough for Henry. He wanted his legs blue as well!

Silly, silly, messy, messy boy!

My little monkey meets a big monkey up close!

A child after his Mommy's own heart!

My child loves, loves pickles! He thinks it is hysterical to make me laugh by making crazy faces! :-)

Residents' Auxiliary Picnic

The Residents' Auxiliary hosted a picnic at a playground area that also has a water splash pad. Henry is not a huge fan of the spraying water fountains so we mostly stayed at the playground.

"Can you believe I am turning this wheel myself without any help?!"

"Mmmmm what could be better than sharing pizza with Daddy and my friends Mrs. Josie and Nolan?!"

"I just LOVE my Daddy and spending every second I can with him!"

Thanks Michele for planning such a fun event for the residents and their families!

Goin' Shopping

At one of the consignment sales Henry was immediately drawn to a grocery cart. He seemed to love it so much that I bought it, filled it with the other things I purchased, and let him stroll it out of the building. He was smiling so proudly and all of the workers and other customers just thought he was absolutely adorable!

Well we had not even gotten a few steps outside of the door and one of the wheels fell off! So I snapped it back on and then another wheel fell off! A little miffed over my purchase, I picked Henry and the cart up and stuck them in the car. ;-) Not to worry though, Trey was able to get that cart and all of its wheels ready to shop again!

You look like you are having so much fun I am going to start sending you grocery shopping Henry!

"I will do any shopping for you as long as I can take Curious George with me!" :-)

Every super hero needs his own slippers!

And my little Batman is no exception! ;-)

The world is his playground!

I used to keep my cosmetics and toiletries in a shelf next to our bathroom cabinets. That was until Henry opened up a child-proof Tylenol bottle himself and sprayed the pills all over the bathroom. After that Trey made shelves to fit inside of the cabinets that have child locks on them.

Of course, Henry had to take some time to play inside the cabinets before the shelves were installed! In Henry's mind no place is off limits for him to use as a play area! ;-)

We're back!

So we are back (at least for a little while) from two wonderful trips and have lots of pictures to post! Stay tuned!

Chick-Fil-A Grand Opening

A new Chick-Fil-A opened up down the street from us (very, very dangerous) and Henry begged me to take him for lunch on opening day! We had a delicious lunch and even met the founder's son! I almost asked him for his autograph but decided that was a little "stalkerish". ;-)

Henry with his ketchup-covered smile showing off his cow and balloon he received!

I love having a little guy always up for anything!

Adventure at the Edventure Childrens' Museum

It is always a day of adventure at our Childrens' Museum.

Where else can you kick a pineapple like a ball....

....get very excited about finding an eggplant in a boat...

...ride a camel...

...and make some beautiful music with your feet?!

Everything a toddler could ever dream of! :-)

A Mommy And Henry Day Out

One morning Henry and I went to see "Pinocchio" at a Marionette Theatre here in town. Henry loves the puppet shows at the library but he was not as interested in the marionettes.

He was, however, interested in his snack cup...

...and running up and down the aisles of the theatre! :-)

Henry and I decided to cut out early after he became very restless. We went to the riverwalk park afterwards to burn off some energy. You always have to have a back-up plan with Henry involved!

Thank you Henry for such a fun morning out! :-)

An Afternoon Out For The Mommies

Trey was kind enough to watch Nolan and Henry while Josie and I went to see a movie. Josie and I had a great afternoon and I know that the boys had an equally great time together!

While Mommy is away Daddy lets the boys climb on everything!

You can tell that Henry thinks he is getting away with something!

Chow time!

Thanks Trey for letting Josie and I have some time away! You are the best! I love you!

Another Fun Family Night

A few Saturdays ago Trey, Henry, and I went to another concert in the park. Why do we go to concerts in the park so often? Well, they are free, outside which is Henry's favorite place to be, and Henry can be as wild and loud as he wants without anyone giving us dirty looks! ;-)

And boy was he a ham this night!

He put on my sunglasses, danced to the music, and entertained everyone around us! :-)

Mommy and her ham of a son eating a snowball....yum!

Happy Birthday Annabelle!

Henry's sweet friend Annabelle celebrated her birthday at a jump zone and we were invited! Henry and I have been to this place a few times on playdates but Henry was never interested in the bounce houses.

But this time he was all for a little bouncing...

...and a little sliding...

...and a little rocking...

...and a little cake-eating! :-)

Happy Birthday Princess Annabelle! We had a wonderful time helping you celebrate your special day!

He's one with the tigers. ;-)

Not one of Momma's better ideas!

So I decided to try finger painting with Henry outside one day. I taped a huge strip of butcher paper to the garage floor in hopes that he would keep his little fingers there and nowhere else. Wishful thinking huh?!

Well I think more paint ended up on his face, fingers, and clothes than it did on the paper!

A close-up shot of the evidence...

"I don't know what you are talking about. I think I painted a beautiful picture."

And then we moved on to a snack with veggies and hummus...

Have you ever seen a bigger mess?! :-)

Welcome to Columbia!

You know it is summertime in Columbia, SC when it is not even 9 o' clock in the morning and your outside thermometer is already reading almost 97 degrees!

"Now that is what you call HOT, People!"

"Why do you think I like to hang out all of the time without my pants on?!"

Henry loves him some watermelon! ;-)

Can't you tell?!

By the way, this shirt is now permanently stained. Oh well! C'est la vie!
