Happy 4-Month Birthday!

Happy 4-month birthday, Little Man! Your Daddy and I love you so very much!

Way to Grow!

Henry had his 4-month pediatrician's appointment on Wednesday. Henry was an absolute angel. He kept smiling at Dr. Kapp until he got his attention. Dr. Kapp would talk and play with Henry and then would turn his attention back to me. Henry would go back to smiling and giggling to get his attention. It was really cute.

Dr. Kapp said that he was completely healthy. Henry now weighs 18 lbs, 11 oz! He is off the charts for his age group! No wonder my back is hurting me! Ha! :-) He is 24 1/2 inches long (63% for his age group) and has a head circumference of 42 1/2 cm (82% for his age group).

Henry also had to receive four more immunizations. He screamed while the nurse was sticking him but calmed down immediately afterwards.

All that perfection wore Little Man out...

Mommy And Daddy Date Night

Aunt Laura was kind enough to watch Henry while Trey and I went out to a residency graduation dinner and then out with our friends. It was the first night we stayed out past midnight since Henry was born and we had a blast! We are so very appreciative!

Pensacola, FL Vacation

Henry and I recently got back from my family vacation in Pensacola, FL. I am speaking for Henry but we both had a fabulous time! :-)

We could not have gone if it had not been for my sister, Laura. She drove to Columbia from Nashville so that we could all drive together to and from Pensacola. Laura, I cannot thank you enough for doing this for us! You are the absolute best!



The house was right on the beach. Here is the view from our balcony. Amazing, huh? We saw several rainbows throughout the week.

New Job Title: Stay-At-Home Mom

I recently made one of the toughest decisions of my life. I decided to become a full-time stay-at-home mom. I loved the company I worked for, I loved my job, but most of all I loved my co-workers. They really were more friends than co-workers. I miss the company, I miss my job, and I terribly miss my co-workers but...

look who I get to hang out with every day. I am so very, very lucky.

Another Fabulous Family Visit

Thank you to Trey's parents (Papa J and B.B.), Trey's grandmother (G.G.), and sister Mary Catherine for making the drive to visit us! We all really enjoyed the time together!

My parents (Henry's Memere and Pepere) came to visit us for a few days. We had a wonderful time and Henry was thoroughly spoiled by the time they left! :-)

My friend Camille came over Memorial Day weekend to meet Henry. We talked, talked, talked, and ate a lot of Mexican food. It was wonderful!

Henry's New Trick

Two Fridays ago (on his 12-week birthday) Henry let out a precious giggle and has been laughing ever since. The other night Trey was swinging his arms around like a monkey and Henry was laughing up a storm. We were all in hysterics! I caught some of it on video and will try to figure out how to post that video on the blog. It is amazing what we will do now to get Little Man to laugh! :-)
