Water Fun

It is HOT, HOT, HOT here in Columbia. So most days when we are outside we are cooling down with lots of water.

Henry's favorite outside toy is the hose. And we have the water bills as proof! :-)

And we never bother with a swimming suit. Henry just loves to jump in fully-clothed!

Trey, congratulations on officially making it halfway through residency! Henry and I will cherish every day we have with you this next year! We love you!

I forced Trey to get his picture taken the day he started residency. You can tell it was the beginning...he looks well-rested! ;-)



And a huge congratulations to all of our friends who are officially done! We are so excited for you as you begin your "real" journey as doctors! Now it is time to pay back all of those loans! :-)

I think Henry is glad to see us leave when Memere and Peppy are in town! And that is certainly fine with us! :-)

Happy 30th Birthday To Me!

I know it is hard for everyone to believe because I look barely into my 20's but I turned 30 at the end of May. Ha! :-) My parents came into town to help me celebrate and they not only spoiled me but all of us.

Trey and Henry surprised me with my favorite ice cream cake...Baskin' Robbins peanut butter and chocolate! Yum!

To top it all of, my parents treated Trey and I to an overnight evening away! We spent the evening downtown with friends and had a fabulous time! Thank you once again Mom and Dad!

And thank you to everyone for making my birthday so special! Turning 30 is not so bad when you are surrounded by a loving family and amazing friends! :-)

And yes, he is riding backwards. I guess that is how kids these days ride their toys. :-)

Sweet Kisses...

Henry now likes to give kisses. You better watch out though....they are wet and sloppy! ;-)

For some reason, Trey told Henry to kiss this lion on a planter. Henry puckered right on up and planted a wet one on that lion!



No matter how sloppy your kisses are Henry, Mommy will ALWAYS love them!

Memorial Day Weekend

We were lucky to have a Memorial Day weekend getaway with friends at Lake Norman in Charlotte. We shopped, ate at some great restaurants, played at a park, met some really fun Nascar people, and did a lot of relaxing!

Memorial Day Weekend Continued

We made some time to stop at a great outlet mall in Charlotte. With Henry around, there is little shopping and more play time. :-)

After Daddy stole all of the money out of the machine (Hahahaha Trey!), Henry wanted to take the tow truck for a test drive.

Trey, less than 18 hours left of call and then no more for 6 months! :-) (Trey has a year of research time starting July 1st. That means NO call, NO weekends, NO late nights!)

I cannot even begin to describe my excitement. Henry and I are looking forward to waking up with you here, going to bed with you here, meals together, weekends together, and just enjoying every minute we get to stop and smell the "roses" with you....

What can I say?!

He LOVES my sunglasses! He grabbed them from off of my head when I was putting him in his car seat and he would not give them back! :-)
