He loves for me to push him around the house in the laundry basket!
At least it is good exercise for me! :-)

Lights at the Riverbanks Zoo
The Riverbanks Zoo here in Columbia has a wonderful lights display all throughout the zoo for the holidays. Trey, Henry, and I had a fun evening with some great friends!
Daddy and Henry taking a dinner break in front of a huge aquarium...
The boys (Trey, Andy, and Gene) and babies (Henry, Abigail, and Garrett) checking out the barn animals...
Mommy and Henry enjoying the lights...
The zoo had actual snow falling! Henry didn't know what was going on! :-)
A family shot in front of the "dancing" Christmas lights display - Henry was a little distracted...

Residents' Christmas Party
This past weekend Trey, Henry, and I went to the Residents' Christmas Party. We got to visit with lots of friends and had a wonderful time!
Henry trying to figure out why this Santa Clause guy is everywhere he goes now! :-)
Henry and I with friends - Beth and Garett, Jen and Elizabeth, Stephanie, Santa Clause, and Abigail...
Well, I guess Henry doesn't consider Santa Clause one of his friends!
We are so very, very lucky!

Harborside Lights
Some good friends of ours, Stephanie, Andy, and Abigail, invited us to come out to their neighborhood last Friday night for a Christmas festival. There was Christmas music, hot chocolate, luminaries lining the streets, Santa Clause, the Grinch, sleigh rides, and lots of people in the holiday spirit! We had the best time!
Andy trying to juggle both Abigail (isn't she precious?) and Henry...

Henry with Mommy (one of his favorite people SOME days)...
"Now who is this clown?!"
Thanks Andy, Stephanie, and Abigail for including us!

The Start of a Busy and Fun Holiday Season!
I took Henry to the Festival of Trees at our new Children's Hospital. We saw elves, Santa Claus, a great performance by a childrens' choir, and lots and lots of beautiful trees! Henry was pretty oblivious to the trees and mostly enjoyed watching all of the other children running around having fun! :-)

Another Skill Mastered!
Another skill we were anxious for Henry to learn was to hold his own bottle. Trey definitely taught him that skill. For a while Henry would only hold his own bottle for Trey because he knew that I would give in and hold it for him! Once Trey pointed that out to me, I quickly learned not to fall for that pout he gives me! He certainly is smart!
A Wonderful Visit With A Wonderful Friend :-)
We were so lucky to have a good college friend, Mark here for a weekend visit. It was wonderful to be able to catch up with him!
Of course, like all visitors, we had to introduce Mark to Guitar Hero. :-)

Thank you Mark for taking the time out to visit us! We will be thinking about you and Erica during interview season!

We have ourselves a walker!
Last Thursday, Henry took his first steps! He actually walked towards Trey and of course, I missed it! He still uses crawling as his main mode of transportation but he is starting to walk a little more.
See the red mark on his forehead? That is one of MANY he gets throughout the day! Unfortunately, Henry isn't afraid of anything!

Christmas Lights All Around
Trey, Tommy, Laura, Henry, and I went to a park here in Columbia that has a drive-thru Christmas lights display. It was a great way to start the Christmas season!
Henry loved all of the lights but he especially loved when we let him "drive" the car. :-)
Uncle Tommy is REALLY excited about the Christmas lights!
Aunt Laura and I taking it all in from the backseat...

YEAH! Aunt Laura and Uncle Tommy Visit!
We were so lucky to have Aunt Laura and Uncle Tommy visit us the weekend after Thanksgiving! It was a long trip for them to make for just the weekend but we absolutely loved having them here!
Henry showing off to Aunt Laura how well he can hold his own bottle...
Henry thought Uncle Tommy was HILARIOUS!
Taking a break from all of the fun to get something to eat...
Thank you so very, very much for coming to see us! We love and miss you both!

We are so thankful!
Our friends, Grant, Josie, and Nolan were gracious enough to invite us over for a delicious Thanksgiving dinner! We are so lucky to have such wonderful friends to spend holidays with!

Our Thanksgiving Day
Trey, Henry, and I had a very quiet and relaxed Thanksgiving Day. Trey was on call but we were really happy to have him home for a good portion of the day!
Henry watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade - he especially loved the Rockettes!
Daddy said that he doesn't understand why anyone would want to watch a parade on TV. :-)
Henry and I loved it though, didn't we?!
Just two of the many, many precious things we are thankful for this year...
We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
