Time To "Henry-proof" The Drawers...
...And The Cabinets!
Another place Henry loves to play is the cabinets!
"I think it is hilarious when Mom puts away the Tupperware and I take it out again 100 times a day!"
"Time for a snack!"
This is one of Henry's goofy faces. He scrunches his face and blows in and out of his nose really hard. :-)
"Who needs toys when I have all of this stuff to play with?!"

Our 11 Month Old Big Boy
Today, our Little Man turns 11 months old. I always say that the stage he is in is my favorite but this is definitely my favorite!
He loves to be chased around the house. He eventually stops because he also loves to be caught! He has five teeth...three on the top and two on the bottom. He loves to wave at anything and everything. His pediatrician was very impressed and said that he certainly had mastered that skill! He is so much fun to shop with because he always wins over customers and cashiers by smiling and waving at them! He is obsessed with books but he is not friendly to them at all. Our "Pat The Bunny" book has no front or back cover and most of our lift the flap books do not have any flaps! He now knows how to dunk the basketball in his mini basketball goal. He also expects you to cheer for him! He dances to any music. His dance moves include jumping up and down and shaking his head "no". Impressive, huh? He knows when he isn't supposed to be doing something but he does it anyway, looks back at us, laughs, and waves. :-) He LOVES to be outside! He puts absolutely everything in his mouth...mulch, toilet paper, styrofoam, rocks, carpet lint, tennis shoes. "Not in your mouth" is by far what I say the most throughout the day. He gives the best hugs! He is a little mischievous, a LOT curious, but mostly happy, happy, happy and we are so lucky that he is ours!

Rainy Day at the Children's Museum
One rainy Sunday, Trey and I took Henry to our Children's Museum. Henry was not even crawling the last time I took him so I knew he would enjoy it more. Although I still think Trey was more excited about going than Henry! :-)
This is what you see when you walk in the door. Behind it there are all sorts of tunnels and stairs kids can run through. If you look closely you will see Henry and Trey at the very bottom.
Trey and Henry about to jump in the fire engine!
"Off we go!"
Henry milking a cow - a future farmer, perhaps?! :-)

Rainy Day at the Children's Museum (Part 2)
Daddy and Henry snowmobiling - Henry was mostly fascinated with the snow that was falling...
From the snow to the desert - Henry riding a camel...
I believe Trey and Henry could probably predict the weather better than our actual weathermen. :-)
Mommy teaching Henry about different musical instruments...
By the way, this is how Henry got around the Children's Museum. No stroller necessary for Big Boy Henry!

A Little Boy And His Wagon
Henry could not wait to take a ride in his new wagon. He thought Daddy was taking too long putting it together!
Okay, here we go!
Henry double checking that the wheels were installed properly.
"Yep, we are good to go!"
No matter what the weather is like or what time of day it is, Henry wants to take a ride in his wagon. Who can blame him? He gets to enjoy the scenery with a drink in hand all while someone is pulling him around! :-)

My New Year's Resolution
Anyone who knows me knows that I do not know how to cook nor do I like to cook. I was lucky to marry a man who was perfectly alright with eating Cheerios or PB&J for dinner. :-)
Along came Henry and I realized that I wouldn't be able to avoid the kitchen forever. So I made it my New Year's resolution to have a meal on the table every night. I have actually kept that resolution and am actually starting to enjoy cooking!
Henry especially loved my spaghetti! It was tasty and it was easy to smear all over himself!
I guess we still need to work on table manners like keeping your mouth closed when it is full! :-)

For All Of Our Northern Friends and Family...
We had a "snowstorm" last night by South Carolina standards. The city is shut down. Walmart was crazy busy yesterday with people stocking up on milk and bread.
Do you see all of the snow?! By the way, the temperature never dipped below 34 degrees. :-)
Henry and I had to run out this morning to take a picture in all of the snow before it melted.

Henry did not know what was going on. I put some snow in his hand and he just watched it melt. One day Little Man, your Daddy will teach you the art of snowball-making! :-)
