Our Big Boy

Our big boy outgrew his infant car seat at 6 months. We had to move him over to the convertible car seat. Henry has some friends that are older than he is that are still in their infant car seat! :-)

I think he likes the new car seat just fine...

What more can I say?!

Henry spit up on his clothes right before our evening walk so I just threw on a "muscle" tee.

What more can I say?!

By the way, the t-shirt says "King of the Jungle Gym". :-)

Happy Birthday BB!

We love you and cannot wait to see you in a couple of weeks! We hope you have had a fabulous day!

Our Weekend Together In Charleston

This past weekend Trey had a few days off so Henry and I went to visit him in Charleston. It is one of our favorite cities and we had the best time! It was so wonderful to all be together again! We ate a lot of seafood, we did some shopping, we walked around the city, we visited the beach, the Battery, and the Market...lots and lots of fun for just a couple of days!

Henry was absolutely ecstatic to see Daddy...

Our Weekend Together In Charleston (Part 2)

The title of this post should be "Eating, Eating, And More Eating". Trey and I ate at some absolutely delicious restaurants this weekend. Lots and lots of seafood...crab cakes, fried shrimp, hush puppies, grilled shrimp, crab legs, seafood gumbo...yum, yum!

Brunch at Poogan's Porch - a famous Charleston restaurant...

While Mommy and Daddy ate lots of good food, Henry was only able to enjoy his toy! Poor Henry!

Our Weekend Together In Charleston (Part 3)

Trey and I decided to take Henry to Folly Beach in Charleston. Henry had really never been in the sand or ocean water since he was really too young when we went to Pensacola.

We went early in the morning so the weather was cool and perfect. We were driving to the beach at 8a and Trey looked at me and said, "Man, we are old!" Before being parents, it was nothing for us to stroll to the beach after we just woke up after noon! Parenthood sure does change things!

Henry was not so sure about the sand between his toes at first but he got used to it and wanted to constantly be moving. He liked the water until a big wave came up and hit us all. After that, he was just fine looking at the water and not actually getting his feet wet. :-)

It was a lot of fun to experience the beach through his eyes. It was like Trey and I were seeing it for the first time as well!

We are having lots of fun!

We are BACK and TOGETHER again!

After a month of being gone, Trey is finally back home with Henry and me! He was in Charleston, SC for the month of September on a transplant rotation. He had a great time and got to do some really cool things but he is really happy to be back home with us! And we are thrilled to have him! :-)
