We left from Knoxville to spend some time with my family and Trey's family in Nashville. We loved getting to see their beautiful new homes and to "sightsee" in their new areas of the city.
Celebrating birthdays with Uncle Tommy and Aunt Laura...
Henry, in his very own rocking chair, hanging out with Memere....
Lots of traveling and playing makes for a sleepy Little Man...
Trey had vacation all last week and we had a fun-filled week with him. We started off in Knoxville at a tailgate for the UT/Alabama game. It was Henry's first tailgate but it will be just one of many in his lifetime! Matt and Lori once again put together a great day for everyone and raised a lot of money for St. Jude.
We loved having the opportunity for our whole family to be together. The icing on the cake was that my cousin Emily and her husband Reggie were able to join us! Here is Emily with Henry...
Henry voted, did you? He and I patiently (for the most part) waited in line for 1 hour and 45 minutes. One of the workers at our voting location said that Henry behaved better than most of the adults! :-)
P.S. You can see his bottom two teeth in this picture. And also the drool dripping off of his chin! :-)
Met in 1999 in Memphis. Married on July 12, 2003. Moved to Winston-Salem for medical school. Graduated medical school and moved to Columbia in 2006 for surgical residency. Henry arrived on Leap Day 2008. Charlotte arrived on January 27, 2011. Moved to Charlotte (the city) in 2012 for a minimally invasive surgical fellowship. Blessed beyond our wildest imagination.
