A Fabulous Charleston Wedding

At the end of March, Trey and I went to a good friend's wedding in Charleston. This was not only a weekend full of celebration but it was also the first time that we were sleeping away from Henry! My parents graciously offered to come keep Henry for the weekend so that Trey and I could have a weekend away. There are no words for how thankful we were for time away with each other and with great friends!

This was supposed to be a beach wedding. That day was rainy, rainy, rainy and we were actually under a tornado warning for part of the day. Unbelievably, fifteen minutes before the ceremony began the skies cleared and the sun came out. They were able to get married on the beach. And even more unbelievably shortly after we arrived in the tent for the reception the skies let loose and a huge thunderstorm blew through!

Congratulations Kurt and Collette! We could not be more excited for you! Thank you for letting us share in your beautiful day!

And you ask how Henry did with us being gone? I don't think he even realized it! My parents spoiled him rotten the whole weekend and he loved every minute of it! Thanks again Mom and Dad!
